  Richard Riley
Senior Partner, Nelson Mullins Riley
& Scarborough LLP


Secretary Riley served as U.S. Secretary of Education in the Clinton Administration from 1993 to 2001 and was Governor of South Carolina from 1979 to 1987. Now senior partner at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough, Secretary Riley is also a Distinguished University Professor of Education at the University of South Carolina and a Distinguished Professor of Government, Politics, and Public Leadership at the Richard W. Riley Institute at Furman University. Secretary Riley is the recipient of numerous honorary degrees from American universities and schools abroad.
